Natural Fertility

Natural fertility is a therapy that is a combination of techniques, for couples who are currently experiencing fertility issues.  It comprises key techniques, understanding your cycle, mapping key stages throughout the cycle, analysing treatment reports, nutritional and lifestyle guidance and emotional support.

Fertility therapy can also be used alongside medical treatment, as a complimentary therapy, or completely on its own, as many couples are looking to do prior to embarking on medical intervention. Indeed it can benefit very much anyone including preparation for undergoing assisted conception (IVF,  IUI or ICSI).

Although it is generally the woman who investigates why she may not be conceiving, the man may have fertility issues of his own. Male sub-fertility, and male fertility issues are increasing and becoming more prevalent. Reasons for this can be due to:

  • Poor nutrition
  • Demanding jobs
  • Heavy socialising (work hard, play hard!)
  • Too much or too little exercise
  • Nutritional deficiencies
  • Recreational drugs
  • Emotional issues
  • STDs (Sexually Transmitted Disease)
  • Endometriosis, Fibroids, Pelvic Inflammatory Disease, PCOS
  • Low Sperm Count
  • Sperm Motility Issues

The above list is not exhaustive, however, it illustrates the more common reasons for fertility issues.

Reproductive Reflexology

Reproductive reflexology is a specific prescriptive form of reflexology, very different from traditional reflexology.  Techniques are used throughout the fertility journey tailored to your particular situation, from regulating a cycle to working alongside drugs used in assisted conception, gynaecological disorders and sperm issues.  It is suitable for both men and women, and is encouraged if there are any anomalies with either partner.

Kinesiology

With the use of kinesiology, hormone imbalances may be identified, nutrition deficiencies may be identified, resulting in how your body wishes to be treated.  This can also include identifying any emotional blockages and how best to address them.

Nutrition

Dietary advice and lifestyle recommendations form part of the Natural Fertility process.  This will include appropriate nutrition being taken, such as Folic Acid, as well as tailored nutrition that may assist disorders and conditions, as well as boosting your health.  A food diary will be required to identify your foods & drinks being consumed and identify any conventional changes being required.

In Combination….

If you have unexplained sub-fertility, PCOS, Endometriosis or any other fertility issues and have been trying to conceive for a while without success, then perhaps you should consider a combined reproductive reflexology, kinesiology and nutrition programme.

More and more clients are wishing to enhance their fertility naturally, as well as addressing specific issues.  Although not completely necessary, there is much more benefit when both partners are involved.

The first appointment is consultation only, in order to define a treatment plan.

All treatment sessions are 1 – 1.5hrs and costs are dependant upon individual requirements. Please contact me to discuss further. Treatment can be offered for all levels of budget!
