Kinesiology

Association-Systematic-Kinesiology-logoSystematic Kinesiology (pronounced kin-easy-ology ) is a way of identifying imbalances a person may have. This is done by monitoring their ability to hold their muscles against light pressure.

Kinesiology is a successful and growing therapy in the UK. It has helped many people recover from symptoms and illnesses.  Symptoms can manifest as allergies, intolerances, skin conditions, digestive disorders, breathing issues and infections.  Other everyday symptoms include hormone imbalance, immune system issues, fertility issues and even structural, postural, general aches and pains.

Kinesiology also helps to identify nutritional deficiencies of vitamins and minerals, which are essential to our core health.

It is a great preventative tool so don’t wait until you feel ill to benefit from this great therapy. The longer you put off getting help, the longer it may take to reap the benefits!

It is advised to embark on a regular maintenance regime after completing a programme of treatment. This will assist in capturing any imbalances early, without any debilitating symptoms creeping up on you.

As a Certified Professional Practitioner of Kinesiology, I am trained to identify an imbalance and devise a treatment plan. The exact treatment depends on the feedback your body gives. This can take the form of nutritional and dietary corrections, acupressure and reflex techniques and manipulation.

Clients can experience significant improvements in health within 2 – 6 sessions, largely depending on symptoms at the initial consultation. However, the client’s own participation and responsibility to own their own health is paramount.

When attending an appointment for kinesiology it is beneficial to wear loose clothing due to the range of movements required.

Treatment charge £70 (adults), £50 (under 16yrs old) – Block booked appointments paid in advance is subject to discount.
